The picture is great in itself! i love how both views of your character are seen, both a far away view of her looking at the stars and the close up of her face. both awesome perspective. Its drawn very well and i love that you also used blue to shade the white. it also (if i remember right) resembles a GDW ending. i like how the words are put on the side.

The picture is original in the sense that your own character and view of the song are put into the art. many people see a different meaning in this song, and though they all pretty much have the same general idea yours truly shows in this piece.

Technique

The use of different textures and backgrounds is wonderful i love how on the front view close up the ground around is her different from the grass. the grass itself very well complements the sky. The sky looks very real and convincing. I like how the falling star represents the title of the song.

Personally this picture makes me want to draw a nagereboshi picture. i think that the picture has many means just like the lyrics in the song and can be seen different by everyone
